Raw Vegan Cheese Dip

Stay home and cook with us to make healthy raw vegan recipes. We’ll show you how to make raw vegan queso or cheese dip. You can even make this delicious, creamy cheese sauce without nutritional yeast. We call it our quarantine queso. You can use this recipe to make vegan mac and cheese, to put on raw vegan pizza, or as a dip for raw crackers or veggies. This queso will be excellent for celebrating Cinco de Mayo or to make with any Mexican dish!

We’ll show you how to make raw vegan queso or cheese dip. You can even make this delicious, creamy cheese sauce without nutritional yeast. We call it our quarantine queso. You can use this recipe to make vegan mac and cheese, to put on raw vegan pizza, or as a dip for raw crackers or veggies.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds, soaked 8 hrs or overnight, drained, and rinsed

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tsp dried basil (or 3 large basil leaves)

  • 1 clove garlic (or 1 tsp garlic powder)

  • Sea salt and ground pepper to taste

  • Optional: 1 tsp nutritional yeast or more to taste

Directions

  • Blend in a high-speed blender. You will likely need the tamper.
  • Look how creamy! This makes a great cheese dip! And it’s so delicious and healthy!
  • You can put it on raw vegan pizza.
  • And dehydrate it.
  • Or make some zoodles and mix it in for raw mac n cheese.
